主谓一致指的是谓语动词在人称和数上必须与主语保持一致。处理主谓一致问题可依据三项原则:语法上一致、意义上一致和就近一致根据这些原则,总结如下:
1) 谓语用单数的情况
● 名词单数 不可数命词 + 介词 + 复数名词
● 动词不定式、-ing或分词作主语
● 抽象名词做主语或单数名词作主语

In thousand years of time, people have developed many kinds of eating habits. It is natural that different culture has different likes and dislikes on food.
